Chunky Potting Soil, Worm Castings, and LECA: Worm Castings
- Soil -
One thing I've learned throughout my plant journey is that standard potting soil isn't the best. I highly recommend hand-mixed soil for proper drainage and nutrients.
This soil is a 2:1:1:1 mix of potting soil:peat moss:bark:perlite
3.5 oz, 1.5 cups - enough to fill a 4inch nursery pot.
- LECA -
Ready to give up soil, fungus gnats, and overwatering? Lightweight expanded clay aggregate (LECA) might be the perfect alternative for you. This semi-hydroponic option allows you to skip the soil and plant directly into this clay ball alternative.
Our LECA has been double rinsed and is ready to use!
5.3 oz, 1.5 cups
- Worm Castings -
Adding worm castings manure to the soil aerates and improves its overall structure while providing beneficial nutrients to plants. Mix one part worm castings into 4 parts soil mix for best results.
4.3 oz, 1 cup
